Britain’s oldest continually operating developer (and former publisher) of computer and video games - and first-time BLE exhibitor - Elite Systems Ltd (Elite), is inviting interest from prospective publishers.
"They Sold A Million" was a best-selling computer game compilation, inspired by a BBC television series of the same name, produced by a successful British publisher - Ocean Software - and originally released in 1985. It’s also the inspiration for “Elite Computer Collection” and “Elite Console Collection”.
“Elite Computer Collection” is a computer game compilation - comprising more than two dozen* computer games, originally released for C64, ZX Spectrum and / or Amiga - including UK #1 sellers ‘Chuckie Egg’ and ‘Frank Bruno’s Boxing’.
“Elite Console Collection” is a console game compilation - comprising more than a dozen* console games, originally released for Game Boy, NES, Super NES, Mega Drive (Genesis) and / or PS1 - including UK #1 sellers ‘Dragon’s Lair’ and ‘Striker’.
Each is being offered to prospective publishers for release as a physical product e.g. a cartridge for Evercade devices and as a digital product e.g. as a downloadable item for Switch.
Elite’s Director and the company’s co-founder, Steve Wilcox - speaking exclusively to BLE Show Daily - said, “Today, with retro gaming booming and revived retro titles finding new audiences, this is a unique opportunity to reintroduce the legacy games, with previously unreleased content, to fans worldwide.”
