UKIPO Recognises Elite as Exclusive Licencee: Manic Miner, Jet Set Willy et al

In her 23rd May, '19 statement Link-Legal's Ellen Walker wrote, "Along with copyright and other intellectual property rights, the exclusive worldwide licences granted to Elite (in 2017) include licences with regard to the trademarks associated with MM and JSW. However for a licence holder to pursue a trademark action, it is necessary for the license to be registered with the relevant body – in the UK for instance, with the Intellectual Property Office (IPO). Such registration is currently being executed."

We hereby give Notice that the UKIPO recognises Elite as the exclusive licencee for Manic Miner, Jet Set Willy et al and therefore that Elite has secured the necessary registrations to pursue trademark actions against alleged infringers of its exclusive licences in Manic Miner, Jet Set Willy et al.
