Elite(R)-produced conversion reaches #1 on Sidekick(TM) for 2008
... also grabs 7th and 8th places amongst year's top 10.
December 2008
Danger (a division of Microsoft and maker of the Sidekick range of mobile devices) has compiled its list of the best-selling games of 2008. No fewer than 3 of the top 10 (including the #1) were produced by Elite(R).
The Elite(R)-produced version of the Sega-Licensed hit ‘Sonic the Hedgehog(TM) Part 1’ achieved the coveted top spot. Also notable in the top 10 are Elite(R)-produced versions of: ‘Sonic the Hedgehog(TM) Part 2’ at #7, and Taito’s ‘Bust-A-Move(TM)’ at #8.
Danger are currently promoting these games and applications in featured “Best of 2008” folders on the Sidekick(TM) devices.
Elite plans to continue porting chart-topping Sidekick games in partnership with Sidekick Publisher Fujin Entertainment.
Developers and IP holders wishing to partner with Elite(R) in the creation of Sidekick mobile products are invited to contact Richard Benton, Producer at Elite.
